The town of Huntsdale is the Second oldest area settled in Boone County Was first settled in 1817
It was Founded named for W.B. Hunt on August 1st 1892
Huntsdale was first incorporated in 1906.On February 2003 the town was re-Incorporated, and held the first election in April of the same year. This was the first election for the town since 1929. The following people then made history and were elected to the town council.1929 was the last election on record until February 2003.
