To quote from their material: "In the international area, grants support projects in the U.S. that promote a foreign policy based on respect for human rights, national sovereignty, and international law. Priority areas include those where U.S. influence is strong, and where a change in U.S. policy could make a significant contribution toward democratization and the peaceful resolution of conflict. In 1989, most grants focused on Central America, U.S. -- Cuban relations, the Middle East, Southern Africa, and international human rights." Grant deadline is April 1st, 1991 and 10/07/91.
