Hi, This is being sent to the "moderators" of the future newsgroup as well as others who have expressed interest in helping our, or interest in the subject matter, or with whom I've talked about related issues in the past. For those wanting direct involvement, I hope we can start a dialog going and do final preparations for the new newsgroup, hopefully getting some advice and people volunteering for thigs they are interested in. For the broader group, I hope to start a dialog with NLNS and Prog-Pubs, not to mention NNCAW (National Network of Campuses Against the War), CINAW (Campus Information Networkd Against War), SEAC-L and other eco-brothers, etc. I hope all of you start a dialog with and network with eachother, as well as with PeaceNet/Econet, which Rich and I could help out in. I also hope (I don't care how many times I've said it already :-) people read about the PACH project ========================================================= work together (millions of students) <--- [PSNs] <-----------> [Campus Peace Groups] ^ information | v _______ ________ ___________ /PeaceNet\ tech/ \ articles / \ | EcoNet |<->[misc.pach]->| PSN-EN | <-------> | Nat'l PNs | \__etc___/ ^ asst\________/ $ \___________/ / | | / |$ |$ _/ | | [UseNet] <- ##############|######################|############## | # [Network of Progressive Advertisers] # | # - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - # v # * I N F O - C O O P * # [other] # - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - # [people] # Resource File Libr.; Archiver; Automatic Poster # #################################################### the full description of which is avail. by sending the 1-line message GET PROJECT PACH-2 ACTIV-L to: LISTSERV@UMCVMB.BITNET [Send "GET ACTIV-L INDEX ACTIV-L" to the same address for a listing of files available.] ################################################################## The next file is a listing of "who we are" The following email will contain the basic ideas and questions relating to m.a.g. and related issues, much of it "brainstormed" and input (to this list, not just to me, unless it's only of narrow interest or really private) is welcome. It you'd like your name "removed" from this list, let me know. Also, please feel free to broadcast to the list your background, interests, contacts, talents (yes, you have it!), etc. (and please don't be offended if I didn't include, or didn't include enough, info with the "who we are" file about you/your org.; please supplement!)
