Let me fill you in on a new service you might be interested in... NNCAW (National Network of Campuses Against the War) had a national conference March 1-3 in Chicago; hundreds of campuses from across the country were represented. We started work on deciding a future direction for the network, now that the shooting war is over. One important thing we started was an electronic mail relay system for NNCAW affiliated campus groups and their members. It works like this: we have several regional "nodes" or hubs. Individuals can send messages to their node and request that it gets national distribution, or regional distribution. The nodes rebroadcast the email message accordingly. We're still getting everything set up; if you want to talk to the Northeast NodeOp, for more info, etc. you can mail bernard@husc9.harvard.edu (Ben Bernard.) We're trying to put together a guide to electronic mail and computer systems for the computer-illiterate activist. Sounds like you've got a similar project in the works; would you be willing to send me a copy for rebroadcasting to the NNCAW folks? Thanks! _Dan
