I am curious whether they actually followed through with the charges they threatened to file? When they responded to a crank call from a woman by barging into my kitchen, shoving a gun in my face, throwing me on the floor, cuffing my hands and feet, and THEN beating me up, I paid $1000 to a lawyer to defend against "resisting arrest" (and they said they were pretty sure they could have got away with killing me), but they actually tried only "trespass" (in my own house). I think they didn't really want a trial. Without a trial there seemed no way to make any complaint against them. The same crazy woman got my new tenant arrested with $5000 bail; by accepting only cash and taking time to refund it, they share the loot with the bailbondspeople. By the way, all govt offices seemed to have posters telling women how brutal all men are. Every night on TV their propaganda machine shows them protecting women and children from evil drugs and violent men, so they can deliver the votes whenever necessary. They have to power to kill any effective dissenter. They left a rather obvious sign of that in my yard when I was preparing a complaint, so I dropped it. Besides, all media need licenses, etc., even if reporters are willing to take the risk. Actually they don't kill many people; it is trivial to ruin opponents financially, discredit them, and crush any possibility of recovery. I suspect all nations, cultures, civilizations, empires, etc. in decline tend toward apathy and some type of feudal system or police state. But if the Brits survive, maybe there is hope for us too.
