I used to be a big fan of Gnews (sounds the same, spelled differently)
but when the NNTP protocols changed it didn't get updated and now
it doesn't work (:-(

Sure - you can keep your account for the .forward - I ususlly leave accounts
around for 6 months to a year, especially if they are used once in a while,
as long as there isn't too much stuff in them - I don't worry about anything
less than one meg, and I don't notice anything under 250k!

By the way, the UPSP only forwards for 6 months, these days.
