Depending on net you can access this for varying degrees of expense. I can be reached directly at dbarkin@igc.org The UNAM also has a node at the internet system and bitnet system. This is not generally accessible outside the UNAM. Technologico de Monterrey also had bitnet system. Feel free to contact me if I can be of further assistance From cdp!support2@labrea.Stanford.EDU Fri Jun 14 18:55:45 1991 Date: Wed, 12 Jun 91 18:29:02 PDT From: cdp!support2@labrea.Stanford.EDU To: dbarkin@labrea.Stanford.EDU, harelb@cabot.dartmouth.edu Subject: harelb - mexico Harel, I'm passing your message on to David Barkin, who is our resident expert in Mexico. Do you know if there is something similar in Mexico? I mean a network (with international gateways) that can be accessed via PC, modem, telephone line. Last time I was in Mexico, they told me that the telephone company as well as the government are very uncooperative (to say the least) about this matter. So if you have any information that you can send to me, I will appreciate it. -Javier-- P.S. A list of CURRENT mainframe nodes in Mexico will also help.
