PeaceNet, EcoNet, and two other neworks (ConflictNet; HomeoNet) are part of IGC, the non-profit Institute for Global Communucations. Let me know if you have any more questions (or I could refer you electronically to someone at PeaceNet). Could you tell me what NYSERNet is? Also, are you interested in "online services" such as databases? Our electronic mailng list, ACTIV-L, has such a database with various searching facilities; a simpler but important feature included is that articles of interest and resource files (listings of publications, speakers, videos, etc; Amensty International's catalog, etc) can be gotten by sending simple 1-line "commands" by email to the "list-server" address; the sender is then automatically emailed the requested files. I am preparing a directory of online services in connection with NYSERNet and would be interested in providing a description to our membership. Thanks for your help.
