None of this is original down to the line >>ADDITIONAL<< near the end. I make no claims as to the accuracy of this list. Oh, and I deleted the FreeNet sites which edguer@charlie.CES.CWRU.Edu (Aydin Edguer) said not to use. >From maffeis Fri Jun 15 12:56:26 MET 1990 remote from ethz >X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.2 PL7] Hi over there! (We discovered telnet-access to public bbs'es a while ago ... :-). Following a list of internet-addresses you may find interesting: .............................................................................. Updated May 2, 1990 The following are locations that allow some sort of guest access. Originally conceived to cover Telnet locations, this list has steadily grown to cover pretty much any location with the exception of name servers and anonymous ftp sites. If you have something to add to this list, please send it to the address below. To use most locations on this list, you must have access to Internet. Most locations can be used with either the rlogin or telnet command. Both names and addresses (where possible) have been given. With telnet, type telnet name or telnet address. Rlogin is a more advanced version of telnet. Rlogin in most cases also provides smoother operation. If a port number is given on the list, type it with a space following the name or address given. Also, certain machines take port numbers as /port=#### instead. Above all, these systems exist and are not yours. Please be polite at all times because you are a guest and also so that in the near future, projects such as these will be encouraged. PLEASE! send changes/additions/deletions to nom@m-net.ann-arbor.mi.us or pecampbe@mtus5.bitnet (preferred) Note: As of this update (April 16, 1990), I went through the WHOLE list and deleted a lot because it doesn't seem to be existant anymore.
