Examples of these are the LADB CA, FCNL, El Salvadore, and NicaNet News ... These are simply copied over, and then discarded after the copy is run to the area boards. BUT, THE PEACENET SYSTEM DOES PROVIDE FOR ME to get a back copy of one of these articles if you need one. What you would do in this case is to let me know the date of the update. For example, with the LADB CA Update, there is usually a reference to the date of the (excerpts) in the title like, 5/5. Just let me know which date you are looking for. Does this mean you already have a peacenet account or some other access to peacenet? (if not, you should know that I have been looking into getting a bulk-rate group of accounts for others on activ-l working with us; but if you already do, let me know..) Finally, I have, after three weeks of experimentation, gone back to the the original number of boards, with one exception. I am trying to get my timing on the Hornet BBS a bit more regular. This BBS, and Latchkey are the only other ones that I am calling everyday, in addition to my usual calls to the Host BBS, The Wine Cellar BBS, and The Rebel Base BBS. What would be very much appreciated is a list from you of all the BBS's you post activ-l stuff to, their addresses, and info about them, which I could put into one file and share with others working with me in activ-l and related projects. Also any other BBS's and/ro Fidonet sites you know about... How many people read these? etc. The point of this is that I, as a result of this modification in my calling activity, now going to try and get about 50 minutes worth of PeaceNet information loaded to the boards on a daily basis. The way that I have run my time study, this will put Let me know how this is working out and what exactly you're doing. The PeaceNet folks would probably like to know (and almost invariably are all for this (since activ-l so far carries small enough a % of peacenet stuff so they don't feel they're ripped off and do feel this promotes them, and is sharing and exapanding the activist community)
