FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Dick Bennett JANUARY 25, 1992 (603) 624-4081 CLINTON PREFERENCE SLIDE CONTINUES AS TSONGAS AND AGRAN GAIN ACCORDING TO THE LATEST NEW HAMPSHIRE POLL Manchester, NH - Preference for Bill Clinton among likely Democratic primary voters has dropped 12 points and preference for Paul Tsongas has increased 9 points during the past 4 days according to the latest New Hampshire Poll. In the telephone tracking survey conducted January 22 through 24, 1992 among a random sample of 499 likely Democratic primary voters in New Hampshire, Clinton and Tsongas are tied at 27% each. They are followed by Bob Kerrey at 11%, Tom Harkin at 7%, Larry Agran at 4%, and Jerry Brown at 3%, with 22% undecided. The gains made by Paul Tsongas and Larry Agran in preference have come at Clinton's expense.
