A cartoon revenge tragedy, as Robin must confront the man who killed his parents. He is presented with the moral dilemma of whether or not to take the life of the murderer, even though it goes against everything that he and Batman stand for. During the course of the story, Robin's origin is recounted with requisite angst and more drama than is usual for television animation. The lack of a marquee villain lets the regular supporting characters shine, especially Alfred (who is wonderfully voiced by Effrem Zimbalist, Jr. Excellent cartoon noir..
