Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, 1986. Directed by Fred

Only Fred Olen Ray could manage to make a movie this boring from a premise so outlandish (well, okay, maybe Al Adamson or Ted V. Mikels could have done it, too). Cult leader/pimp Gunnar Hansen (Leatherface, once upon a time) is using his stable of hookers to lure unsuspecting victims in for sacrifice. I'll give the movie this much: There are hookers, there are chainsaws, and it takes place in Hollywood. At least there is some truth in advertising. I had to watch this in parts 'cause it put me to sleep twice during its eighty-something minutes of running time. |
